The position provides clinical expertise to inform strategic priorities and drug coverage decisions, negotiations and product listing contracts, and analyzes financial and utilization data to support sound funding decisions. The role also resolves complex pharmacy‑related issues, contributes to legislative and policy reform, and represents the Ministry in stakeholder consultations and pan‑Canadian committees.
