A plain client can ask for the fragment directly, so no headless browser is involved. Two details are load-bearing — page2440 must be loaded first to establish a session cookie, and isInitialNetworkCheck=1 must be present or the fragment returns without its results block. Paging is requestedPage=N at 20 per page, verified across three pages returning sixty distinct postings. tab=1 is the public tab; the other tab is internal to the government network and is not ours to read. The host serves no robots.txt, which under this project rules is an absence of permission rather than a grant of one.

Worth reading carefully on terms: the job board host publishes no robots.txt, while www.gov.nu.ca allows the generic crawler but names ClaudeBot, GPTBot, CCBot, Google-Extended, Amazonbot, Bytespider and meta-externalagent as Disallow. It also carries Content-Signal: search=yes, ai-train=no, use=reference. Our crawler falls under the permissive wildcard and our use is search and reference rather than model training, so the signal is compatible - but it is an explicit reservation of rights and the review should record that it was read.

Shares the jobs.nshealth.ca host with Nova Scotia Health but sits on its own branded SuccessFactors sub-site at /iwk/, so the two must be configured as separate sources or IWK postings would be attributed to Nova Scotia Health. The blank search and the All Opportunities category both return 41, so the figure is IWK-scoped rather than a slice of the NSH board.

Requires a Canadian Business Number and is stated as free for non-commercial use. An ad-supported site may need explicit permission — application filed, question asked directly. Stays inactive until answered in writing.
