About this role
Reporting to the Supervisor of Design, the Civil Engineering Technologist (CET) supports the delivery of the City's Capital Works Program in the area of design and construction of municipal infrastructure capital projects mainly roads, sewers, watermains and TTC streetcar tracks as both a Team Lead and Lead Designer. The CET plays a key role in the delivery of capital projects, is accountable for the preparation of detailed design, coordinating with utility companies/agencies/approval authorities, assisting Project Engineers in preparation of tenders, and design conflict resolution during cons
