About this role
This job assesses the suitability of caregivers (i.e., foster, or adoptive parents and extended family,) and supports the provision of related services and resources for caregivers to ensure the safety of children who are wards of the Minister. Specifically, the role performs assessments to ensure the safe and appropriate matching and placement of children with caregivers, as well as ensures the day-to-day physical, safety and emotional needs of caregivers are being met through the provision of long-term plans, education/training, counsel, financial maintenance, and referral services.
